While the deaths were a shock, locals were not necessarily surprised because of the known dangers at the grade crossing. One resident stated, \u201cIt\u2019s kind of a perfect storm of noting being safe, and there\u2019s no flashing lights or arms or anything like that.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He followed up with \u201cYou\u2019re not going to find anybody here that says there shouldn\u2019t be railroad crossing arms.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
